I like adventure

I like adventures.  I just got back from one with my 3 beautiful girls.  God has me (us) on an adventure right now.  I quit trying to guess what’s next.  At this point, I’m just enjoying the ride…and holding on for dear life!

I used to NOT like adventures. I lived in the status quo. Anonymity ruled my life. It made me the (unfortunate) person that I was.

Late last Summer I had an awakening. I realized that I wasn’t who I wanted to be, and I wasn’t going where I wanted to go. I was pretty much sleepwalking through life. That’s no way to live life.

Over the past 11 Sunday mornings I have transformed myself into the person that I have always wanted to be. This transformation is just starting out. It’s a fantastic journey - the most exciting and adventurous of my life. I’m on this journey for the long run. There’s no looking back now.

When I walked in this Sunday morning I had full intentions of grabbing a cup of delicious hot coffee and proceeding to Pier 2 to have a seat. Before I ever got near Pier 2 I had suddenly become a volunteer - a new member of the Life Pointe Hospitality staff. I am truly proud and happy to serve. It is yet another exciting step of this wonderful journey that I am on. I can’t wait to see what happens next. I will embrace and excel at whatever it shall be.
