The Change Revolution has begun (with me)

On January 1st, I got sick enough of what I physically became in 2007 that I was inspired to change. I’ve now dropped almost 30 lbs. I feel a heck of a lot better and I’m spending about an hour on my bike with my family every night, exploring trails and sidewalks all over the east side of Homestead. I’m a better dad and husband for it. I’m also a better steward of the life God has given me.

In another 16 lbs, I’ll be at 200 lbs. That’s 5 below my marriage day weight. When I hit that, I’m going to bike to Key West (128 miles) in a day. I’m taking no prisoners this year. I’m growing in Christ. I’m a better dad and husband. I’m going to lead and I am leading a group of incredible people to aggressively live out the mission of Christ in one of the most awesome cities in the US. I’m leaving nothing in reserve. The revolution has begun. Care to join me?

There’s no wishing, Ela. You do or you don’t. Besides, you are a catalyst in the change revolution. You face your obstacles and overcome them. You are one of the most exceptional individuals I’ve ever met.

When people ask me how I can face my life, I always thank JESUS first and then I start on my church and family one and the same. You as my Pastor takes most of the credit for bringing me this far. In spirit I’ll be behind you and with you all the way in this revolution.

Much love and many blessings to all the Johnsons.
